Installation of downloaded
softwares:
Download and unzip to a
temporary folder. Click next on Setup.
The install
process is automatic. Install in THE EBOOKSTORE program
folder.
By default, this folder is created upon first
install of THE EBOOKSTORE application, and should be a
subfolder of PROGRAM FILES, on C hard disk
drive.
Read the readme.txt file for detailed
instructions.
Installation of new
Ebooks
Downloaded packs of Ebooks should be
installed in EBOOKSTORE subfolder of THE
EBOOKSTORE.
This process is automatic, unless your
configuration is non standard (like having programs
installed on other hard disk drive than C:)
THE
EBOOKSTORE application will detect any new ebooks installed
(or copied) into EBOOKSTORE subfolder and update itself
automatically.
Installation of
illustrations:
Download and unzip to
\images subfolder of THE EBOOKSTORE.
Minimum
hardware requirements:
- Pentium 120 and
more
- Monitor resolution of 800x600 pixels and
higher
- about 1.2 MB of freespace on disk for each
Ebook
(100 Ebooks would require 120 MB)
- If
not enough space, application and Ebooks can be installed on
any other hard disk drive.
Software
requirements : WIN95 - WIN98 - NT
Note
for WIN95 users:
It is advised to use an
updated version.
To update, install Internet
Explorer 5 latest version. Older versions of WIN95: Check
for file Regsvr32.exe (WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder) using Windows
FIND utility. If older than 8/11/96, there is no guarantee
that our applications will work.
